<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent water, dust, foreign matter or the like from being either taken into together with the actuation of the drag system or generating an interference in a drag control system for spinning reel, furnished between the principal axis and a fishline spool assembly and intended to selectively control the magnitude of rotational resistance (namely, drag). SOLUTION: This drag assembly for spinning reel has a fishline spool and a drag dial rotatably positioned on the terminal end of the fishline spool; wherein the fishline spool has an inner wall, while the drag dial has an outer wall. Furthermore, this assembly has a sealing element which seals the gap between the inner wall and outer wall, and preferably also has a groove provided either on the inner wall or the outer wall; besides, the above sealing element has a 1st portion positioned pref. in the groove.</p> |
