PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To polish a barrel uniformly without causing deformation in a plate- like work. SOLUTION: In the planetary-turning-type barrel polishing method, the plate- like work is inserted into a barrel tank 1, and a free grinding wheel B polishes the barrel. The barrel tank 1 has a circular cross section, the plate-like work A with a noncircular main surface is inserted into the barrel tank 1 mutually freely and so that the work directs disorderly during the polishing, and the free polishing stone B has 3-6 mm sides. |
