RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR TENNIS BALL AND TENNIS BALL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain proper repulsion characteristics, improved durability, and a feel of a good shot at ambient and low temperatures by forming a tennis ball from a rubber composition having good repulsion characteristics and processability. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a tennis ball is principally composed of a base rubber containing a polybutadiene of 10-100 mass % which is synthesized using a rare earth element polymerization catalyst. The tennis ball includes a core made of the rubber composition.
