PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet prominent in ink absorbing property, surface glossiness, smoothness or the like and excellent in curl preventing property in the wide range of atmosphere, and the manufacturing method of the same. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording sheet is provided with an ink receptor layer on one side of a substrate and a rear surface coating layer on the opposite surface of the same while the coating amount ratio of rear surface coating layer/ink receptor layer is specified so as to be 0.3-1.0 and the mass ratio of binding agent of rear surface coating layer/ pigment is specified so as to be 0.05-0.5, while the binding agent of the rear surface coating layer is constituted of a polymeric latex having the glass transition temperature of -10-+30 deg.C. |
