INSPECTION AND PROCESSING METHOD OF WEB AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device capable of performing an inspection and a treatment of a defect of a web and processing such as coating to a treated web by a single device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a first rolling-out and winding device 2 and a second rolling-out and a winding device 3, each for rolling out and winding a web, and is constituted so that the web 1 travels on a prescribed traveling passage between both of them. The web 1 is rolled out of a winding 1A set on the first rolling-out and winding device 2. Defect of the web is inspected by an inspection device 8 when winding the web by the second rolling- out and winding device 3 and the detected defect is treated. After finishing winding of the web by the second rolling-out and winding device 3, the web 1 is rolled out of a winding 1B wound on the second rolling-out and winding device 3 and is made to travel in the inverse direction of the last time to be wound by the first rolling-out and winding device 2 to perform prescribed processing on the web 1 in a processing area 13, during winding.
