PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for simulating an injection molding process for more accurately calculating shape deformation quantity inclusive of warpage and a sink in a final state as a molded article. SOLUTION: The shape of a molded article is divided into minute elements to form mesh data and various molding condition data (S1). The formed data are used to calculate the resin behavior data up to the completion of filling, the resin behavior data up to gate seal and the resin behavior data up to a deformation start point where the filling speeds in all of the minute elements become smaller than a preliminarily indicated value (S2, S3, S4). The heat strain data from the deformation start points of the minute elements to a point of time when temperature and pressure become stable are calculated (S5), and the analysis of the internal stresses due to various restriction conditions is performed to calculate strain data accompanied by a change in the internal stresses (S6). After the completion of calculation, the shape change quantity inclusive of the warpage and sink of a final molded article is calculated on the basis of the heat strain data and internal stress/strain data (S7).
