PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To double a switching speed between electrode tips for spot welding and to shorten a welding tact time. SOLUTION: A machine is constituted of a guide unit G to press/drive facing electrode tips by one ball screw 2, the ball screw consists of a right screw 2a and a left screw 2b, the right screw and the left screw are integrated with nut blocks N1, N2 respectively corresponding to the right/left screws, the ball screw is driven by an electric motor, thus, pressing and opening actions of the facing electrode tips 5, 6 arranged to respective blocks are simultaneously conducted by both electrodes.
