MEDICAL GLOBULAR POWDER AND MEDICAL CEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide medical cement capable of obtaining excellent physical properties of hardened body without impairing operability of paste even by kneading at a high powder-liquid ratio and medical powder required when the cement is produced. SOLUTION: This medical globular powder is characterized in that the average particle diameter is <=100 micron and the powder is globular and the main component is either one of fluoroalminosilicate glass and zinc oxide. The another objective medical cement contains the above powder as at least one component. The medical cement has good operability and enables kneading at a high powder-liquid ratio. The medical cement can provide a hardened body having excellent mechanical properties, because kneading at a high powder- liquid ratio can be carried out.
