PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide foam for Thompson dieing and its manufacturing method superior in durability and generating no dioxin when incinerating it. SOLUTION: In this foam for Thompson dieing and its manufacturing method, a foaming agent, a cross linking agent, an antistatic agent, and an inorganic filler are mixed in a polyethylene-based resin obtained by using a metallocene compound as a polymerization catalyst and it is foamed under heating for producing the foam.
