PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scissors body with excellent practicality and operability for making anyone able to easily make the fitting of blade plates appropriate and a method for manufacturing the scissors body. SOLUTION: This scissors body 5 is composed by providing holes 3 and 4 near the base parts of both of a pair of the blade plates 1 and 2 respectively and pivotally attaching both at the holes 3 and 4. A surface body 6 and a rear body 7 are successively provided in the state of keeping a prescribed interval and the surface body 6 and the rear body 7 are provided with a stop body 8 provided with prescribed elasticity. Projections 9 and 10 inserted to the holes 3 and 4 of the blade plates 1 and 2 respectively are provided on the inner surfaces of the surface body 6 and the rear body 7 and the stop body 8 is attached to the scissors body 5 by fitting the projections 9 and 10 of the stop body 8 to the holes 3 and 4 of the scissors body 5.
