PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printer wherewith searching can be made in a PLU file with an information regarding production being a key data. SOLUTION: For the label printer which is equipped with a commodity information file storing commodity information including names of articles, prices of articles and the like corresponding to article numbers and prints the commodity information on labels in accordance with the commodity information stored in the commodity information file, a file 13 for storing informations regarding production and a device 12 which reads out the commodity information out of the commodity information file with the information regarding production being a key data are provided.
