PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching arrangement for transmitting reverse driving force, easily applicable to the driving mechanism of an ordinary bicycle driven through a free gear by working on a pedal, and capable of reliably transmitting the driving force even with the simple mechanism. SOLUTION: In this reverse switching arrangement, a fixing pin inserting see-through hole 9 and a fixing pin inserting see-through hole 24 are provided on the hub flange 21 of a hub body 20 and on the gear 3 of a free gear 2, a regulating pin inserting see-through hole 33 is provided in a fixing plate 30, a regulating pin 37 is raised on the gear 3, a fixing pin 35 is raised on the fixing plate 30, pressing force is applied to the fixing pin 35 by a pressing lever 40 operated by a means 50 for actuating a wire, the fixing pin 35 is insertedly engaged with the fixing pin inserting see-through hole 9 of the hub flange 21, the gear 3 and the hub flange 21 are integrated and the gear 3 is inverted by reversal of a chain due to reversal of a pedal. Thereby, a bicycle can be backed by reversing the hub flange without actuating the ratchet mechanism part 16 of a free gear 2.
