PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure allowing an occupant sitting on a seat to easily take an object in or out of a storage compartment body, when the storage compartment is provided for a vehicle. SOLUTION: The storage compartment 10 having a recessed part 12 for storing the object in its upper surface is arranged at an under position of a seat part 1a of the seat 1 so that parts of the storage compartment 10 are positioned in front of and in a side part outside a support member that supports the seat 1 and arranged under the seat 1. The storage compartment 10 is arranged so that the front end of it is positioned before the front end of the seat part 1a of the seat 1 and the recessed part 12 of the storage compartment 10 is exposed before the seat part 1a of the seat 1.
