<p>PURPOSE:To make the most of the inexpensive midnight power supply in heating water by setting the time of the power supply to the heater in the following period outside the measured time in accordance with the quantity of remaining hot water detected by a means of detecting the quantity of remaining hot water and with the time during which power has been supplied and which a means of measuring the power supply has measured. CONSTITUTION:At the starting how of the midnight time zone a main controller 10 estimates the quantity of hot water remaining in a hot-water tank 1: at this hour remaining-hot-water sensors 7, 8, 9 output their respective detection signals of hot-water temperatures, which a means of detecting the quantity of remaining hot water receives and obtains therefrom the quantity of hot water remaining in the hotwater tank 1 at the time. When this quantity of remaining hot water is less than 60 liters, a means of setting power supply estimates the number of times by which the heater has been energized additionally, specifically by three or more times or two times or one time, during the daytime time zone preceding the midnight time zone. When it is three or more times that this additional energization has taken place, a temperature elevated by one level is set for the control of the temperature in the hot-water tank 1 for the daytime time zone of the following day. When the additional energization has taken place two times or one time or has not taken place at all, three times or two times or one time respectively of additional energization is set for the daytime time zone of the following day.</p> |
