<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a semiconductor storage device having no limitation on the characteristics of system by incorporating shift function thereby reducing the number of instructions of a signal processor constituting a system and achieving high speed operation. CONSTITUTION:The semiconductor storage device incorporates an adder/ subtractor 7 for adding or subtracting '1' to or from an inputted address and '1' is added or subtracted directly to or from an address inputted on a bus 10 based on an addition/subtraction designating signal A/D. At the same time, data already read out is switched through multiplexers 2, 6, and latch circuits 3, 4, 5 and rewritten in a RAM through an address decoder 8. Consequently, data is shifted automatically after data read out cycle, shift program for signal processor is eliminated, resulting in shortening of shiting time. Furthermore, characteristic restriction of finishing all processings within a limited time can be lifted when this semiconductor storage device is applied.</p> |
