PURPOSE: A media access controller is provided to reduce a memory number and an overhead without using a media access control transmitting buffer and a media access control receiving buffer. CONSTITUTION: A multiplexer receives data transmitted from a system bus interface(210), and transmits the data to a physical layer(260). An other multiplexer receives the data transmitted from the physical layer(260), and transmits the data to the system bus interface(210). An interface transmits the data transmitted from the system bus interface(210) to the multiplexer, and receives the data transmitted from the physical layer(260).
