PURPOSE: A process for preparing a high purity calcium-containing germanium solution by dissolving germanium oxide powder in pure water and adding a calcium solution to the obtained sol solution is provided. Therefore, the obtained titled compound can be used for various medicines, beverages, organic fertilizers for plant growth, detergents or the like. CONSTITUTION: Germanium having a particle size of about 0.2 to 0.3 micrometer and a purity of 99.999% is added to a mixture of 20% by weight of germanium oxide and 80% by weight of pure water in a high temperature vacuum mixer under nitrogen atmosphere and agitated at about 70deg.C at a speed of about 3,000 rpm for 30 min to give a highly concentrated germanium solution. Calcium powder having a particle size of about 0.2 to 0.3 micrometer and a purity of 99% or more is mixed with pure water in a ratio of 1:1 in a high speed mixer under nitrogen atmosphere and grinded at a speed of about 3,000 rpm or more for 48 hr to give a high purity calcium solution. The obtained germanium solution and calcium solution are mixed with water in a ratio of germanium/calcium/water of 20 to 50:50:10 at about 100deg.C or less to produce the subject solution. |
