PURPOSE: A structure of a CRT is provided to be capable of reducing the generation of stray emission by shielding the path of electrons generated from an electron gun to be moved along an inner wall of a neck. CONSTITUTION: A pair of bead glasses(316) formed on a neck(319) support electrodes forming a conventional electron gun. A shield tab(317) is attached to a portion of the electrodes to which a focus voltage is applied. In a vacuum deposition part(318), a portion of the shield tab(317) is vacuum-deposited on a surface of the bead glass(316) by heating the shield tab under a vacuum atmosphere. An annular glass wall(321) having smaller than the inner diameter of a shield cup(309) is positioned to be touched or closely adjacent to the shield cup(309) of the electron gun toward a screen.
