PURPOSE: An LED device for portable phones is provided to attach an LED having a high straight-travelling characteristic to the lower part of an antenna without not only being affected by the lead wires of the LED but also changing the characteristics of the antenna. CONSTITUTION: A helical antenna(4) is embedded in a semitransparent cap(1). The inside of the semitransparent cap(1) is empty so that light emitted from an LED(2) can be shed from the bottom of the semitransparent cap(1) to the top. As the LED(2) having a high straight-travelling characteristic is attached to the lower part of the helical antenna(4), a terminal transmitting/receiving lamp alarm function can be carried out without changing the characteristics of antennas.
