PURPOSE: A turntable for a disk driver is provided to improve reliability on operation of a disk drive through precisely establishing and firmly maintaining height of a disk mounting surface. CONSTITUTION: A friction tool(40) is installed by inserting an edge of a table main body(31) to an inserting groove(42). Herein, the friction tool contains a specific amount of flexibility. In case of mounting a disk on a turntable(30), the friction tool is attached to a lower surface of the disk. Therefore, the disk is not replaced in rotation of the turntable by rub frictional force between a friction surface(44) and the disk. Herein, height of the friction surface is decided in a die for precisely deciding mounted height of the disk in installed state of the friction tool.
