The method is for data exchange between users in a mobile telephone system, in which the users have mobile terminals (1,2,3) which communicate with a stationary cellular communication network (8). Preference data is recorded for the users in a storage unit (11) in a computer system (10) in a service supplier in the mobile telephone system. Position data for the position of the mobile terminals is delivered to the computer system from a mobile positioning unit (9) in the stationary network. The positioning data is analyzed in the computer system for selection of the user who fulfils a predetermined position criterion. An invitation to a given place (12) is generated and sent to the users, dependent upon their preference data and the selection. The users with the given place communicate with each other via a wireless peer-to-peer network (4) with short range. |
