The system (1) consists of carrier rails (2) which are fastened to furnishings. Mounted in a line on each carrier are cases which have cushions (7) for the pieces of jewellery (6), e.g. rings. Each case has a transparent cap (3) with side clips (4). The caps can only be released using a tool (11). The tool has protrusions (14) which release the side clips.
