PURPOSE: A motion blurring correction method of an iris identification system is provided to be capable of correcting an iris image blurred due to the time difference between an odd field and an even fields in an interlaced scanning CCD camera, and of correcting the blurred iris image to enhance the identification rate of the iris image. CONSTITUTION: First, an iris image is captured through a camera. Then, the captured iris image is reconstructed into images consisting of only an odd field and an even fields. Next, the central coordinates of the reconstructed iris images are respectively searched and the difference between the searched central coordinates. Then, the center positions of the image are corrected by the obtained difference. Finally, iris identification processing is performed using the corrected images.
