PLANAR MONOPOLE ANTENNA

PURPOSE: A planar monopole antenna is provided to be capable of solving the problems such as difficulty in leading-in/out or damage by embedding the antenna within a telephone or mounting it on the surface of the telephone. CONSTITUTION: A coplanar waveguide is used as a power supply line, and an outer conductor is connected to a ground surface using a through hole. In this structure, the ground surface is operated as a braun antenna having two branch lines because the ground surface seems to be looked as one line when viewed from upward. In addition, since its radiation resistance is about 20 ohm, the length of the coplanar waveguide is shortened by a predetermined length to serve as an impedance converter.
