PURPOSE: A packaging for preventing a heat deflection of a fiber bragg grating is provided to prevent a capability of an FBG from being deteriorated depending on an expansion/constriction according to a temperature change of an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION: In a packaging for preventing a heat deflection of a fiber bragg grating, a grass pipe(2) is inserted into the inside of a protection pipe(1). An FBG fiber(3) is inserted in the grass pipe. An inside sealing substance(4) is attached in the inside of the both end parts of the protection pipe. An outside sealing substance(5) is attached in the outside of the both end parts of the protection pipe, thereby fixing the grass pipe and the FBG fiber and sealing the inside of the protection pipe. The outside sealing substance has a low coefficient of thermal expansion and the inside sealing substance has a high coefficient of thermal expansion.
