摘要 PURPOSE: A titania based flux charged wire is provided in which an impact value of the back surface of the fused metal obtained after welding shows almost the equivalent value as the impact value of the surface part of center part thereof by simultaneously controlling a content of B according to a content of Mn contained in the welding wire to within the certain range and adding a Na based arc stabilizer, and a welding method using the titania based flux charged wire is provided. CONSTITUTION: In a titania based flux charged wire for arc welding manufactured by charging the flux into the outer skin of steel, the titania based flux charged wire is characterized in that the flux charged wire comprises 0.01 to 0.055 wt.% of C, 2.5 to 6.5 wt.% of Ti, 1.5 to 3.5 wt.% of Mn, 0.002 to 0.02 wt.% of B, 0.1 to 0.5 wt.% of Mg, 0.5 to 1.5 wt.% of Si, 0.1 to 0.5 wt.% of Al, 0.05 to 1.25 wt.% of Na, 0.03 wt.% or less of P, 0.03 wt.% or less of S and a balance of Fe and inevitable impurities as element converted amounts for the total weight of wire, wherein the wire further comprises one or more elements selected from 0.05 to 0.15 wt.%, 0.05 to 0.45 wt.% of Zr, 0.00008 to 0.008 wt.% of K and 0.02 wt.% or less of Ca. The method for welding the titania based flux charged wire is characterized in that the welding is done using a titania based flux charged wire under the high current conditions that a welding current is 250Å or more for the initial layer part (8), and the welding current is 350Å or more for the multi-layer welding part (9) after disposing a backing material (2) having a fusion point of 1500 to 2000 deg.C into the back side of a material welded (1).
