PURPOSE: An optical disk is provided to improve an overlapped recording characteristic and a cross erase characteristic without deterioration of corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION: A first lower dielectric layer(42a) is formed by ZnS-SiO2, and a second lower dielectric layer(42b) is formed by GeN or SiC. An optical interfering insertion layer(47) is formed by silica, and a recording layer(43) is formed by Ge-Sb-Te alloy. A corrosion resistance insertion layer(48) is formed by ZnS-SiO2, Si3N4, or Al2O3. Reflecting layers(45a,45b) are formed by aluminum alloy or a metal having higher heat conductivity. Herein, the corrosion resistance insertion layer is formed between the upper dielectric layer and the reflecting layers to have excellent corrosion resistance. Moreover, the lower dielectric layer is formed by the first and second lower dielectric layer to control optical absorbing rate. Herein, the silica is used for the optical interfering insertion layer to increase optical interference according to change in thickness. |
