PURPOSE: A fleeing vehicle tracing device is provided to spread film on a road at a collision by mounting the film having intrinsic numbers or characters of a vehicle in a bumper or a frame, and to help to trace a fleeing vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A tracing apparatus(10) of a fleeing vehicle is installed in a front bumper of a vehicle and both frames. The tracing apparatus consists of a capsule closed, a film(200) in the capsule, and an assembling member(130) sticking the capsule to the vehicle. The capsule is composed of a body(110) installed in the bumper of the vehicle and a cap(120) covering the body, and assembled by interference fitting or sticking. The body is made of ABS(Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene) synthetic resin, and the cap is made of material such as brittle acryl. The cap of the capsule is broken by impact at a vehicle collision. The fleeing vehicle is traced through the film by spreading the film with breaking the cap at the collision. |
