PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a sound volume adjustment extending to a plurality of steps by a digital processing. SOLUTION: A subsidiary substrate 33 in order to control the sound outputs from speakers SL, SR and Slow is provided independently of a main substrate 5 on which a main control section 29 for a game control is loaded. A subsidiary CPU 35 on the subsidiary substrate 33 controls a sound reproducing circuit 39 in response to a command signal from the main control section 29, and reads and reproduces a sound signal in response to the command signal by a sound ROM 38. The subsidiary CPU 35 generates a control signal to express an attenuation in response to the setting levels of volume switches SW1, SW2 and SW3 for the sound volume setting, and the control signal is output to an attenuator. The attenuator 40 attenuates respective sound signals VL, VR and Vlow to the sound volumes in response to the control signals from the subsidiary CPU 35, and outputs the sound signals to respective speakers SL, SR and Slow.
