PURPOSE: Provided is a process for anion-polymerization of polyamide 12 by using a molecular weight controlling agent, which can control molecular weight and viscosity by performing an end-capping reaction on the end of the polymer chain, therefore, a branching side reaction can be controlled. CONSTITUTION: The anion-polymerization of the polyamide 12 is performed by injecting a conventional catalyst, an initiator, lauryl lactam monomers, and the molecular weight controlling agent as an end-capping agent in a biaxial extruder, followed by performing the end-capping reaction on the end of the polymer chain at 240-260deg.C. The molecular weight controlling agent is aliphatic alcohol, aliphatic amine, aromatic alcohol, aromatic amine, or a polyester oligomer compound, wherein the amount of the molecular weight controlling agent is 0.01-2.5mol% if the molecular weight controlling agent is the alcohol-based compound or 0.01-1.5mol% if the molecular weight controlling agent is the amine-based compound or 0.05-25wt% if the molecular weight controlling agent is the polyester-based oligomer compound. |
