PURPOSE: An apparatus for attaching/detaching a module from a portable computer is provided to efficiently control the generation of an electromagnetic wave by easily attaching/separating a module to/from without a special combining unit in an internal space for a portable computer. CONSTITUTION: A lever(41), a lever spring(42) and a lever button(43) are installed in an internal space for a portable computer into which a CD ROM driver(30) is inserted and mounted. The lever(41) is rotated by an insertion of the CD ROM driver(30) inserted. The lever spring(42) provides an elasticity to the lever(41) in order to insert and fix a protrusion into a groove. The lever button(43) is connected to the end of the lever(41). The lever button(43) separates the lever(41) from the groove according to a horizontal movement. An insertion hole which inserts and mounts a module such as the CD ROM driver is arranged into the side of the portable computer.
