PURPOSE: A remote test method for private lines using an access function of a DCS(Digital Cross connection System) is provided to test private lines using a line access function of a DCS, instead of a private line access equipment. CONSTITUTION: A private line test operator drives a line test program to execute a remote test for a fault line using a DCS(301), searches for line associated information(302), and judges whether access using the DCS is possible(303). If it is impossible to access the fault line using the DCS, the operator generates a line access command using an RTU and controls a line access system(304). In case that it is possible to access the fault line using the DCS, the operator reserves a DCS communication route and generates a DCS control command to control the DCS(305). Then the operator confirms whether the access is successful(306). If the access is successful, the operator generates a measurement command to test the fault line connected to the RTU and transmits it to the RTU.
