PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing impurities such as fine yarns floated in treated water as washing water and containing a filtration drum consisting of only a drive motor is provided, which reduces the cost of production and environmental pollution. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for removing foreign materials comprises a filtration drum(20) having a filtration mesh(22) disposed along the inner wall surface of a filtration hole(21) and the filtration drum; a moving guide plate horizontally fixed to the inner part of the filtration drum; a treating water inducing pipe for inducing treating water; a discharging shooter for discharging foreign materials deposited in the inner part of the filtration drum; and a filtering water discharging pipe connected to a filtering water collecting tank. The apparatus is characterized in that foreign material of treating water is separated slowly and discharged by means of a motor, driving force and gravity of a tilt angle.
