PURPOSE: An oil drain structure for muffler is provided to reduce volumetric loss of muffler and improve performance of muffler by smoothly discharging the oil collected in the muffler and preventing ingress of the high temperature refrigerant gas in a closed container and the oil mixed with the refrigerant gas. CONSTITUTION: An oil drain structure comprises an oil drain hole(33) formed at a muffler body(31) having a gas flow channel and interior space, wherein the oil drain hole serves to discharge the oil collected in the interior space of the muffler body; and an oil guide unit arranged at the outer surface of the muffler body, and which forms an oil film at the oil drain hole by allowing the oil sprayed onto the outer surface of the muffler body to flow toward the oil drain hole. The oil guide unit is a guide protrusion(B) arranged at the outer surface of the muffler body, and which has a predetermined length so as to be connected to the oil drain hole.
