PURPOSE: An automatic door opening/shutting device is provided to operate both doors simultaneously according to each rotating direction of bidirectional motors and to promote the safety in use by installing a sensor in the contact part of each doorway and the lower part of each door. CONSTITUTION: An automatic door opening/shutting device having a sensor(3) sensing a visitor, doors(1,2) operated to both sides, a motor providing necessary power for operating each door, and a setting plate(5) where the motor is installed comprises: a driving unit with racks(6,6') united respectively to the top of each door operated to both sides, a driving side pinion(7) and a driven side pinion(7') for driving the racks, a driving pulley(8) formed on the same axle with the driving side pinion, a relay gear(21) engaged with the driven side pinion, a driven pulley(8') formed on the same axle with the relay gear and a wire rope(9) integrated between the driving pulley and the driven pulley to transmit the driving force of the motor connected to the driving pulley through the driven pulley and the relay gear; a guide unit with a rail(11), of which the length doubles the total length of the doors, connected to the top of each door of the setting plate, a bracket(10) formed on the right and left sides on the top of each door and a roller(12) attached onto the front end of the bracket and coupled to the rail to be rolled to guide in the operating direction of the doors; and limit switches(13,14) installed on the rail to limit the operating length of each door. |
