PURPOSE: A forming device and method for a disposable food container are provided to minimize environmental contamination through shaping the disposable food container by using grain hulls, water, and starch. CONSTITUTION: Hulls are collected to be inputted into a hopper(1). The hulls are transferred to a foreign material separator(2) by a conveyer(3). Then, the hulls are inputted to a hopper of an expander. The hulls are fed in one direction by the rotation of a feed screw to be crushed. Herein, water is discharged from a water tank through a pipe. The hulls are thermally expanded by the heat of a heater in the expander. The hulls are inputted to an agitator(7) while adding starch at a certain ratio. The mixture discharged from the agitator is transferred in one direction while being compressed. The mixture is shaped into a food container(9) by a press die of a former(10) at the end of a feed screw. The container is dried by the air supplied from an air compressor and coated by the coating liquid jetted from the upper and lower directions of the container.
