PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing barrier rips of a PDP(Plasma Display Panel) is provided to be capable of enhancing the formability of the barrier rip material by adding material of low viscosity to slurry. CONSTITUTION: First, a green sheet(60) is laminated on a substrate(60) formed of glass, glass-ceramic, metal, etc. Then, address electrodes(64) are printed and dried on the green sheet(60). Next, an electrode protection layer(66) of dielectric is coated on the green sheet. Then, a mold having grooves of barrier rip shape formed is aligned on the substrate(62) to be pressed toward the substrate. At this time, the green sheet and the electrode protection layer can be moved into the grooves even with a low pressure since the flexibility of slurry is enhanced by solvent a low viscosity and high boiling point. |
