PURPOSE: A signal device circuit pack having an improved error check function is provided to allow an operator or a manager to promptly and easily process maintenance and repair of a signal device circuit pack of a mobile communication exchanger by adding a status monitoring unit into a signal device circuit pack, determining a major chip, a major signal and a cable status on a real time basis and transmitting the information to a monitor of the operator. CONSTITUTION: When a time switch unit transmits 4MHz clock and 8KHz frame synchronous signal to drive a signal device circuit pack, a sub-highway interface unit (150) of the signal device circuit pack interfaces a line so that the clock and frame synchronous signal transmitted from the time switch unit can be received by the signal device circuit pack. Then, a signal sound receiving unit(120) receives the clock and frame synchronous signal transmitted through the line interfaced by the sub-highway interface unit(150) and outputs it, and a controller(110) receives the clock and frame synchronous signal outputted through the signal sound receiving unit(120) and outputs a control signal. Upon receipt of the control signal outputted from the controller(110), a signal transmitting unit(130) outputs various signal sounds to the time switch unit, and the sub-highway interface unit(150) so that the time switch unit can receive various signal sounds outputted from the signal sound transmitting unit(130). At this time, if an error occurs in the controller(110), the signal sound transmitting unit(130), the signal sound receiving unit(120) and the sub-highway interface unit(150), a status manager(170) monitors the error generated in each hardware and outputs a warning signal, and a TD-bus interface unit(140) outputs the warning signal outputted from the status manager(170) to an LED and the next upper processor mounted at a front plate of the signal device circuit pack. |
