FUME DUCT DAMPER DEVICE FOR ENHANCING DUST COLLECTION EFFICIENCY

PURPOSE: A fume duct damper device for enhancing dust collection efficiency is provided, which closely seals the opening between a fume hood and a fume duct installed between a dust collector and the fume hood and so can increase operation efficiency of the dust collector and the fume hood. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises the followings: (i) a fume duct (10) installed on moving fume hood side of dust collector and transfer car for collecting and arresting particulate matter and dust containing gas emitted from cokes compacting process; (ii) many duct dampers (20) installed at the upper part of the fume duct (10); (iii) a hook device (30) installed the duct damper (20) for operating duct damper to open or close; (iv) a cylinder (40) vertically installed beneath the base that is installed at a side of transfer car; (v) a locking device (50) that is installed at the both ends of a connecting bar (52) horizontally connected to the rod of the cylinder (40) for operating the hood device (30) to open or close; and (vi) a supporting device (60) that is connected to both side of a support pad (72) hinged to a rotational bar (68) for intimately actuating to push the duct damper (20) to open or close.
