PURPOSE: An apparatus for sensing the inside of a rotation type lime shaft kiln is provided to early measure position and thickness of a coating layer of calcium oxide formed inside a rotary kiln by installing a temperature measuring and sensing device at the outer part of the rotary kiln so as to measure temperature of heat transferred to outside from the inside of the rotary kiln. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for sensing the inside of a rotation type lime shaft kiln measuring a coating layer (17) of calcium oxide adhered to the inside of the rotation type lime shaft kiln calcining limestone into calcium oxide, the apparatus comprises a rail (130) which is spaced apart from the outer side surface of the rotation type lime shaft kiln in a certain distance, and installed parallel to the length direction thereof; and a temperature measuring and sensing device (100) measuring an outer temperature of the rotation type lime shaft kiln in a length direction as moving along the rail (130).
