PURPOSE: A connector for a flat cable is provided to form grooves capable of maintaining intervals of contact flaps in an actuator, and to install two more contact units in the contact flaps, so as to increase electrical conductivity between the contact flaps and the flat cable. CONSTITUTION: A housing(30) forms grooves(32) having a constant interval. Contact flaps(40) partly inserted in the grooves(32) form leads(42) in lower sides. An actuator(60) is inserted through an opening unit(34) of a slit type formed in the hosing(30), and presses a flat cable and the contact flaps(40). The actuator(60) forms other grooves(62) opposite to the grooves(32) in an inner side. Parts of the contact flaps(40) are inserted into the other grooves(62).
