APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR REPRODUCING ATTACHED ACTIVATED CARBON USED IN TREATING RADIOACTIVE ORGANIC IODINE EXHAUST GAS

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for reproducing attached activated carbon used in treating radioactive organic iodine exhaust gas are provided to be capable of recycling the attached activated carbon used in nuclear power utilities without wasting it as a radioactive solid waste. CONSTITUTION: A fluidized bed detaching/attaching reactor(1) detaches/reattaches adhesive substance and absorbed organic iodine from used adhesive active carbon. A detaching bath(8) can circulate extracted solution, and can solidify/filter the organic iodine by adding solidifying additive. An attaching bath(12) can mix the attached substance and can spray the attached substance toward the active carbon. An automatic control box(15) can detach and reattach the attached substance and the organic iodine from the used attached active carbon.
