PURPOSE: A water pump for preventing occurrence of noise and damage of a support bearing of a rotating shaft is provided to prevent abrasion of a rotating shaft supporting bearing actuating an impeller and occurrence of noise. CONSTITUTION: A water pump for preventing occurrence of noise and damage of a support bearing of the rotating shaft includes a water pump body(2) having a pump inlet(4) and a pump outlet(5), an impeller(7) rotatably mounted in the water pump body, a rotational slave shaft(8) for rotating the impeller, a bearing and a mechanical seal for supporting and sealing the rotational slave shaft, a slave bevel gear(10) fixed at an end of the rotational slave shaft, a main bevel gear(11) rotating in engagement with the slave bevel gear, a bevel gear housing(9) for protecting the bevel gears, a rotational main shaft(12) for rotating the main bevel gear, another bearing and mechanical seal for supporting and sealing the rotational main shaft, a pulley(13) fixed on the rotational main shaft extending to the outside of the bevel gear housing, and a belt(14) for transmitting rotational force of a crank shaft to the pulley.
