PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural and horticultural bactericide capable of achieving both prevention and treatment of blight and noxious insects in a low medicinal amount and exhibiting excellent synergistic effect by using two agents simultaneously. SOLUTION: This agricultural and horticultural bactericide is characterized by incorporating at least 1 kind of an amino acid amide derivative expressed by the general formula (1) (wherein, R is an alkyl; X is H, a halogen atom, methyl or methoxyl), and 4-chloro-2-cyano-N, N-dimethyl-5-p-tolylimidazole-1- sulfonamide as an active ingredient.
