<p>The subject of invention is a device for the automatic unstrapping or release of a safety belt which enables the automatic disconnection of the safety belt after its sudden and impulsive loading caused for example by a crash or overturn of a motor vehicle, in case the vehicle has stood still for a certain time after the event in which the loading of the belt had occurred. The solution is given by the submitted structure of the device for the automatic unstrapping of the safety belt. It consists of a chamber, (1) fixed at one point of the three-point safety belt (e.g. at the fixing point on the floor), in which a piston (2) and a pendulum (14) with a lever (15) are moving. The piston (2) contains a capsule (13) filled with gas which expands according to the movement of the piston (2). The movement depends on the openness or closeness of a gas flow hole (11) within the piston (2), which in turn depends on the vibration or movement of the whole device.</p> |
