The invention relates to an adaptive method of connecting computer systems applicable to work at average level in networks inter-connecting telecommunication systems and computers. According to the invention, the method consists in the cyclic interogation of each traffic contributor by a referee system (CA) in a computer system network that communicates information (C1, C2, C3, C4, C5) in turns depending on the preset priority level so that when the priority level is higher the interrogation frequency grows higher and the priority alloted by the referee system (CA) is modified, that means it grows, in case in the former cycle a system (2) has to make a transfer, respectively decreases, where the participant did not make any transmission in the former cycle, the mode of growth variation respectively of the decrease in the priority level being established according to some ordinary variation laws.
