PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve utilization efficiency of illuminating light compared with a conventional one with respect to a light transmission plate, a surface light source device and a liquid crystal display device, especially constitution wherein an optical path of illuminating light made incident from the rear surface side of the light transmission plate is bent by an optical path bending surface to propagate it. SOLUTION: A projection 16K formed by a pair of inclinations 16I, 16J extending in the thickness direction is formed right over the light emitting point of at least the primary light source of the optical path bending surface 16C. |
