PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive circuit of a rotating-electric machine, capable of suppressing torque fluctuations, noise vibrations and the like, when a broken wire or a failure of circuit elements occurs in a multiple-phase rotating electric machine. SOLUTION: This drive circuit of the rotating electric machine is provided with a means (a load resistor Rm) for detecting the electric potential of the neutral point Nm of each phase winding L1, L2, L3, etc., of the rotating electric machine, means (impedance elements Z1, Z2, Z3, etc., and a load resistor Ri) for detecting the electric potential of the neutral point Ni of an inverter 22, that transmits electric power for driving the electric machine, and means (a differential amplifier 24, a low-pass filter 25 and a PWM signal generating circuit 26) for changing the signal for driving the inverter in the direction of decreasing the difference between the two detected elected potentials of the neutral points in accordance with the difference. |
