PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment capable of simultaneously turning plural memory banks into active state even in a device of small power source capacity thereby improving its performance while effectively utilizing the features of synchronous memories. SOLUTION: Memory control circuits 101 and 102 for respective banks 103, 104 and 105 monitor the operating state of the memory banks except for the memory banks charged to each of circuits and on the basis of the monitored result, it is judged whether or not the access of the memory bank charged to each of circuits is to be started.
