Blister package, for packaging articles, has steel sheet pressed to form recesses and covered by heat sealed transparent film

The blister package has a steel sheet which can be printed on and covered with paint. It has pressed recesses (3) to form holders for the packaged articles. The recesses have relieved edges to prevent stresses. The edges of the sheet can be folded over to keep it flat. The sheet can have a punched hole to fit the support hooks. A transparent film (9) is used to close off the front face of the recesses and is heat sealed in place. Independent claim is also included for a method of heat sealing the film.
